Mr. Taoushanis brings extensive banking and finance knowledge and experience to our organisation having spent over 40 years in the industry in various senior roles. He has worked for some of the world's largest banks in a number of different locations including Chicago, Greece, Hong Kong and Cyprus, including the Continental Illinois National Bank of Chicago, the HSBC Group with 12 years as the Managing Director of the Cyprus subsidiary, and 8 years as the CEO of the Cyprus Development Bank. Since 2011, Mr. Taoushanis has been working with the private firm TTEG & Associates.

Mr. Karantzis is the founder and Managing Director/CEO of ISX. He has over 20 years of experience across a number of sectors including eCommerce, payments, online media, AML, defence and secure communications. His previous public company experience includes directorships with Southern Cross Payments Ltd (formerly iSignthis Ltd) (ASX: ISX) (2015 to 2021), NSX (ASX: NSX) (2020 to 2022), Sports Entertainment Group (ASX: SEG) (formerly known as Pacific Star Network Limited (ASX: PNW), Data and Commerce Ltd. (ASX: DCL) and Reeltime Media Limited (ASX: RMA).

Mr. Treon's experience spans a 25-year career in the banking industry, including extensive experience in renowned institutions such as Lloyds Banking Group, Lehman Brothers, Dresdner Kleinwort Investment Bank, and Credit Suisse, Ajay brings a wealth of expertise in financial management, strategic planning, and risk mitigation. He also brings valuable recent experience in the fintech sector, further enhancing his understanding of the evolving financial landscape.Ajay is also a qualified accountant, holds an Executive MBA, and possesses the esteemed Certificate in Quantitative Finance.

Mr. Melo has over two decades experience in the payments and information technology (“I.T.”) field. He worked for organisations in Hong Kong, London, Malta, Cyprus, and the United States of America. Mr. Melo has served as director of Paymundo Systems for 6+ years, as Senior Consultant for Go-Secure for 11+ years and as Information Technology Director at Alliance Asset Management for over two years. Since 2018 Mr. Melo has held the position of Chief Product Officer where he coordinates the ISX Financial product suite.

Mr. Barnes has international business experience in venture development in both the financial and technology sectors and has been involved in M&A activities for over 30 years. An experienced executive and latterly non-executive director with Tristel PLC (TSTL.L) an LSE AIM market Listed healthcare company where he has served as Chairman of the Company and as Chairman of the and Audit and Risk Committee. In addition to his role at ISX Financial, Paul Barnes serves as an independent director with an ASX listed company specialising in cutting-edge wireless technology, including waveforms and public mobile radio solutions. 

Mr. Pouros has over 46 years of extensive experience including roles in senior levels of the civil service of the Republic of Cyprus, insurance and the banking industry. His key roles in the banking industry include being an independent non-executive director of Cyprus Development Bank 1997-2004, National Bank of Greece (Cyprus) 2010-2012, Bank of Cyprus 2013, Central Co-op Bank 2013-2018, Cyprus Airways (Public) Ltd 2012-2013, Aretaieion Hospital 2012-2022 and Cooperative Asset Management Company Ltd (SEDIPES) 2018-2023. 

Mr. Pegasiou holds a BSc degree in Economics from the London School of Economics (LSE), a Masters from the University of Bristol in European Policy Studies and a Ph.D. from the University of Manchester in Politics. Mr. Pegasiou has over 10 years’ experience in academia and is currently the Academic director at the ‘European Institute of Management and Finance’. Additionally, Mr. Pegasiou has over a decade experience as a consultant for the public and the private sector.

Elena Pafiti holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Leeds as well as a Master of Laws from the University of Manchester. With over a decade experience in the legal space, Elena is also a member of the Cyprus Bar Association since 2011. Mrs. Paphiti joined our company in June 2017, having previously worked for many years in a law firm in Nicosia.
